Join the workshop and spend two days learning real-world acting and audition technique from a top Hollywood writer and producer!
Laurence Andries, who is currently working with networks and stars such as HBO, ABC, Bravo, and Tom Hanks, will be joined by actor Doug DeBeech, television host Craig Scime, and entertainment journalist Tim O’Shei as he travels the country helping performers fine tune their acting technique from the perspective of somebody who earns his living by creating shows and hiring actors.
Join The Workshop’s two-day adult class (ages 16 and up):
In Join the Workshop, actors ages 16 and up will get two days of intensive training in audition technique working with actual scripts from major television series written by Laurence Andries. You will gain insight on the best ways to advance your career from Hollywood to your hometown. You’ll also learn how to fully access your strengths and fine-tune your weaknesses – ultimately giving you the tools needed to audition with complete confidence. The final day of the workshop will consist of a mock producer audition session where the actor selected for the “role” will receive a full refund of their tuition paid.

Live! Starring… You! youth class (ages 10 to 15) is offering two independent workshops:
Workshop 1 (Saturday) - In “The 6.5 Steps to the Stars,” you’ll learn how top performers make it to Hollywood and Broadway. You’ll discover the common traits that all young stars have, learn how to use tough experiences to create impressive performances, and find out how making mistakes can actually help you. You’ll learn how to set goals and get started on a starry career.
Workshop 2 (Sunday) - In “The 7 Secrets of Celebrity Success” you’ll spend the day facing real-life Hollywood scenarios and discovering the truth behind fame. After the full-day experience, you’ll know what it’s like to be a person in the spotlight … and when you’re a celebrity, you’ll be more ready to handle the attention and do good things with your fame.
